CCJ's?

hi all,

have been reading through some threads and wondered something..

me and oh have had several debts which we are slowly reducing..

two contract mobile bills which ended in defaults both paid off now
overdrafts listed as arrangement to pay on credit file
an argos card which defaulted
and some others..

anyway question i had was.. are we lucky not to have got ccjs..

what is the usual procedure for a ccj? does it depend on the company, the amount?

can you get a ccj without knowing about it prior.. do they have to serve papers ect?

sorry if any of the above sounds silly just concerned oh may have a ccj now.

Thanks in advance

  • You get served papers.

I have just filled in some for 1 of my creditors who won't accept the payment offered by CCCS and they only represent 10% of my total debts.

All the other creditors have either accepted or I get minimal hassle, MBNA write occassionally maybe every 6 weeks asking for more money but all the calls have stopped.
    I have a cunning plan!
Proud to be dealing with my debts.
