How many DMP's have gone well?

A year and a quarter in. DMP with CCCS and everything has settled down.
We've still got another 2 1/2 years or so to go but it was the best decision we ever made.
It was pretty much all plain sailing after the initial 3 months or so (apart from one creditor - see below - and even they accepted the dmp more or less straight away)
The ONLY creditor I hear from is Lloyds TSB who are a complete bunch of muppets but even then it's only the computer generated stuff. I've stopped calling them now even when I get a 'solicitors letter' from them as every time I did call I was just told that everything is fine and that I should ignore all letters! They are also the only creditor to have started charging us interest again on the credit card debt (at a reduced rate - but even so). They should be thoroughly ashamed of themsleves, all the money they have had out of me over the years.
Rant over - none of the bad things I imagined would happen when I first started this, did happen.
Good luck with it.0 -
Hi dazla, i have had dmp with since July 2007 and all i can say it's the best thing i did, Payplan are always very helpful.
I'd rather not have my debts, but least i'm doing something about, rather than sticking my head in the sand.
Good luck xx0
