Saving pots bank accounts

Hi all,

Not been on in a while since i've been back at work since my accident it's been a bit manic - that added to the fact we are now expecting baby number 2:T:j

Obvioulsy however this means we are on our uber tight way of getting as much debt paid off as we can! before this little one arrives - we've just had a very hard month both cars have needed big jobs - 1 we are still in process of deciding it is worth it or just worth scrapping but can't decide.

However we are looking at setting up saving pots for car insurance, mot, servicing etc etc and other bits and bobs that you need to do ;)

Can anyone recomend an account that lets you do this? I'm sure i've seen it mentioned on here before?

  • I was going to say that I'd asked about this a couple of months ago and have a hunt for the thread .... but Tixy's already posted it!;)

I can honestly say that it's been the best thing I've ever done (and wish I'd done it many years ago) - I move the money on payday and then it's like they're any other payment/direct debit etc that comes out my account and the money is gone.

Not been tempted to raid so far :D (and was even loathe to transfer money from one of them to pay for an "allowed" for bill):o
