Ex's Debts

Ive recently moved in with my partner and all is well except that his Ex has left loads of debts in her name and the letters keep coming and being sent back , she has changed her name several times to avoid paying her debts.
She used my Partners credit Card fraudlently hid bills from him so that he wouldnt know and all this is now taking its toll on his health
I have spoken to his ex numerous times and she is adamant she doesnt want her address given out but personally im really past caring and if some one knocks the door for her i will give that information if they ask im not going to lie for her
Is there anyway i can get her name removed from this house so the letters do not show up here anymore ?
any advice much appreciated

Start by making sure she is no longer on the electoral roll.
You cannot stop letters being sent to the house; by law creditors have to write to the last known address.
However your partner has to deal with any joint debts; are there any?If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
no there are no joint debts and she has been taken off the mortgage and the deeds as well
As far as i am aware she is no longer on the electoral roll here i had already checked that. No voting card arrived for her here so i would take it she isnt
oh well just have to keep sending them back
thanks for the reply xBSC MEMBER 319 - AD 22ND JULY 20110 -
Alternatively, get some little labels and forward the letters to her address - no stamp just stick them in the letter box. Let her suffer. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0

Had you considered getting a rubber stamp made up, saying:Return to sender.
The addressee has bu[STRIKE]gg[/STRIKE]ered off,
to God knows where!
Do not post to here again.

Adamant she doesnt want her address given out!!!!!! cheeky ***. Write her new address across the front of each letter that arrives & stick it back in the postbox.Tallyhoh! Stopped Smoking October 2000. Saved £29382.50 so far!0

When DCA letters start to arrive at her new address, won't she just move again?0

Seperate issue - might want to check ex's credit files with the credit reference agencies to check he isn't shown as being financially associated with her. If he is he needs to file a notice of disassociation at each. It will save her mess affecting his credit rating.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0

I'd pass her new address on to the creditors. Let her deal with the hassle. Cheeky moo!Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud.0
