Just searching for deals for my folks who are visiting next week.

Found this cracking deal

Laterooms.com
Royal Hotel Scarborough
Stays from Sun 20 March in
Standard Double or Twin Room
Dinner, bed and breakfast included
£85 per room

BUT stay for 3 nights or more and you get a discount of 10% when you stay 3 nights, a discount of 15% when you stay 4 nights or a discount of 20% when you stay 5 nights

Which works out at just £34 per person per night if you stay Sun-Thurs - bargain!

Royal Hotel is near centre of town and 5-10 minutes to beach if you can go down some steps and a path through a nice garden.
  • Royal Hotel is a lovely hotel over looking the south bay..and really handy for town centre shops..only downfall is parking is a nightmare round there..on a one way system and just one 24hr car park for several hotels in the area.

i went 2 years ago and yes parking was a real nightmare, found a carpark that charged £6 for 24 hours in the end, that was cheap compared to the rest, you can park free from 6pm till 8amish on the roads but finding that space is hard.i stayed for a week and dread to think how much i paid in parking. but it was a great place, kids loved it and we saw the chuckle brothers in the theatre oin the beach and gotr a pic with him.

The car parking in that area of town can be a nightmare at times but to be fair they have a loading bay right outside the hotel where you can drop of your bags etc and several car parks with 5 minute walking distance.

And I would also like to add that the food is really pretty good... And in comparison to other locations parking is cheaper, its also way better than in Spain when 16E pn is the norm... have no idea if you can pay to upgrade the rooms to sea view but if so do you wont be disappointed.

We have a brand new premier in opening just round the corner to the Royal so I think they will be getting edgy!

Yes the premier inn opens very soon also around the corner is the grand and travel lodge

Parking is a nightmare like most busy towns there is a multi story 5 minutes walk away and a car park opposite premier inn
