Sunday Times Where Was I? competition
The competition starts on Sunday and ends on Wednesday
The prize: The winner and a guest will stay for three nights, on a B&B basis, at Buckland Manor, a honey-stoned 13th-century manor house near Broadway, in the Cotswolds. The hotel is part of the von Essen group and a member of the Relais and Châteaux collection. With just 13 rooms, it is set in 10 acres of gardens, next to the parish church. The restaurant has two AA rosettes and an award-winning wine cellar; the menu, devised by the head chef, Will Guthrie, is English with a European influence, using fresh produce from the nearby Vale of Evesham. Dinner for two on one night is included in the prize, which must be taken before November 30, 2011, excluding public holidays and subject to availability.
The questions
1 What is the wondrous piece of architecture? Parliament Hill Lido
2 What was the name of the first bridge? Fleet Bridge
The "something" is the River Fleet
