Hi, would really like to make a 3D cake of Postman Pat's Van, Jess the cat and Postman Pat. Can anyone help with links to websites, hopefully with step by step instructions etc. Have googled already without luck. Thank you.

    I made one 20 yrs ago for my DD . It was of the van with pp leaning out the window waving and Jess sitting on top of the van. Used quite a lot of fondant icing I believe. Obviously still haven't got instructions ...so sorry can't help....but thanks for the memory
    We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

    You will find step by step instructions in Debbie Browns Favourite Character Cakes. I decorate cakes, and Debbie's books are fab for novelty cakes. She tells you everything you need to know and how to build the cake step-by-step. There are a few listed on ebay at the mo.
