It took about 1 day for the e-mail to land in my inbox about Double the difference price comparing to Asda, and in my basket Tesco was £1 cheaper.
I did notice that they didn't check everything, but it was Tesco own brands that were ignored, so Bombay Sapphire ought to work.
Does it get cashback or a Tesco voucher, which effectively means they have your business again damn them!I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing!

tesco voucher, but if you shop there anyway it's a nice extra bit for your shopping...0

Hmm just to add, I cannot find the new policy wording, and the sites that mention it say that it is on various products (i.e. not all).
'Which' did say that Tesco would only exclude items that were demonstrably different in size or quality so that shouldn't apply, but I worry that they'll exclude all booze or something.
czerniacha - any result yet on the price match? It would make it £9.53 for a litre = bargain.I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing!
