Hi All,
Can anyone help me ?? .... I am trying to estimate what my house price will worth in 2017. the reason is due to an ongoing divorce "battle" which our house is part of
I am currently a joint owner on a mortgage with my ex wife .. there is around £30,000 equity on the property currently but what will it be in 2017.
The house is 3 bed Semi detached with a 100ft garden in Hatfield, Herts
Current value around £230,000 - £245,000
Any help would be greatly received
Many Thanks

Do you not think people would need slightly more information than that? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

We'd need to know the rough area and property type to give you an informed opinion.
Performance of a 2 bed flat in Leeds will be very different to a detached house in Mayfair.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

er, why?
are you trying to suggest that a detached house in mayfair is now worth a greater number of 2-bed flats in Leeds than it was, say, 40 years ago [hint - the opposite is true] and that this divergence will continue?
anyway, the OP is clearly one or both of a WUM or fool & as such not worth replying to.FACT.0 -

Are you trying to suggest the performance of two bed flats in Leeds has been comparable to detached houses in Mayfair in the last 5 years? are you trying to make forecasts by extrapolating the last 5 year forwards [hint - obviously yes]? why not the last 5 minutes? or the last 5 [milli-]seconds?FACT.0 -

Somewhere in the £ 85,000 - £ 585,000 range !!!'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0 -
If there is growth you are going to hit the 250k level, where the increase in stamp duty means it is difficult to cross that hurdle.
Why 2017? are you expecting a 6 year battle?I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
