Crackdown on cheap CD's from Channel Isles
Comments

I am surprised so many still buy CD's. The last songs I bought legally were via Amazon.
1) Often cheaper than buying downloads.
2) Sound quality is better, at least its noticeable if played on a decent system. Probably no different is using a cheap pair of earphones.
3) You don't have the DRM issues.
4) You can store them no a bookcase, in alphabetical order, catalogue them and generally be a bit more ODC:)0 -
Whats ODC?0

I'm glad I live in Thailand. CD's are peanuts here and DVD's.
I just bought a media player with a hard drive containing 150 Blu Ray DVD's. This is how it should be.We love Sarah O Grady0 -

Are you sure they were sent from Jersey? Books are zero rated for VAT (i.e. they are VATable but the rate is 0%) so I'd be surprised they were sent that way. Amazon send its books within the UK I believe - i've had some in a couple of days, even on the free delivery.0 -

Did you honestly ever think anything else?:)"there are some persons in this World who, unable to give better proof of being wise, take a strange delight in showing what they think they have sagaciously read in mankind by uncharitable suspicions of them"(Herman Melville)0
