Selling CD's?

I have seen those adverts for selling your cd's to those companies by telling them the barcodes on the boxes and they send you money. Kinda like those cash for gold adverts? Is this worth doing? I don't have many CD's but my mate has tonnes!

Worth checking what it's worth - you don't have to register on the website or anything to do that - but you get pennies for them. You might get an extra 50p by going through Top Cash Back etc.!0

There's a Music magpie thread over on "Up your income", and you can just put your CD/DVD's barcode into the site to see what you would get for them. IME it's not very much, but might be better than nothing if you need the cash!
There are other sites like this I believe, but I've not visited them so can't comment.
It's only a game

I was gonna do that last summer but some were coming up at 30p and some £2.90. Mostly near the 30p mark so i just waited and did a car boot sale and got rid of them all then.0
