Best Value 'all in one' Wireless Printer?

I'm after a wireless printer for my dad, (with the ability to scan and photocopy as a bonus) and was wondering what you guys would recommend?
I'm not after spending silly money so around £40-60, where the ink cartridges don't cost a bomb to replace although I've been advised to get a CISS kit as it's much cheaper.
The ones I've been recommended so far:
HP Deskjet 3050 All-in-One Printer : http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0043XYYGQ/ref=nosim/?!!!!!hotukdeals-21 (although the replacement ink is expensive)
HP Officejet 6500: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Officejet-Wireless-Multifunction-Printer-Scanner/dp/B001V5J63K/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1294062703&sr=1-1
Many thanks in advance.

hi.
i'm by no means an expert but i've been looking for one myself today.
the epson stylus sx515w
appears to be the best.
It has a very acceptable resolution scanner and the ink is very cheap too if you dont mind compatible ones. (just google the model number)
Is cheapest in dixons, around £55 or £99 everywhere else.
Hope this helps,
regards0 -

Thanks ashyb.
Funnily enough I've just been looking at the Epson SX415, as the 515 version seemed a bit too expensive for what my dad will print.
I checked the Dixon's website and it's coming up as £52.70:

Or is that because it's online and it's a few quid more in the store?
EDIT: Remembered Dixons is online only now, but they say none is available anyway.0 -
No problem. sorry i would have linked to it but as i'm new it wouldnt let me. Not sure, but if theres a currys near you, they might price match it? They are the same company after all? Worth a try :-)
Good luck.0 -
It's a pretty stressful thing as there doesn't seem to be any value printer which doesn't cost the Earth to replace the ink. It's a catch 22.0

Well I tried... Curry's said they can't. She said they can't even match their online prices, in-store lol.
I'd order it on Dixon's, but they don't have any left.
I may have to get a lower model, such as the Epson Stylus SX415.0 -
i wonder when this will come back into stock as someone has asked me to research this for them
seems like a sensible option
how much does the ink come to?0 -

If you look on Ebay you can get CISS kits which work out much cheaper than buying them.
It's a shame Dixons give us no clue as to when stock will be back in, as it could be weeks or never.0 -
Debenhams Extra have SX515W for £56 delivered http://www.debenhams-extra.com/DE_EPSON_Printers_Multifunction_Inkjet_10046461/version.asp?0

I wouldn't use CIS which were tried a few years ago and they were so fussy when filling one, you had to remove all six and then use a resetter and then if you were lucky it would recognise them, if not, it could take an while. Another bug was that ink did not travel from the bottles to the printer evenly in all the tubes, leaving airlocks. They did / do also require parts to be removed from the printer so there goes the warranty. Am currently looking at refillable cartridges with auto reset chips, they are cheaper than a CIS and the ink will cost the same0 -
Try the kodak 5210 or 5250 they have both just been reduced by quite a bit in PCW and Currys and thier refills are dirt cheap.
The glass is always half full, no exceptions !!:D
