what does 'ic' stand for on a bank statement

Hi Folks,

For a nationwide account does anyone now what the abbrev. 'ic' stands for please? Its showing a £60 charge (from a statement from the hole in the wall) and we dont have a clue what this is?

Unfortunately the banks are closed and we are very concerned?
