Good evening! My broadband is up and running at last!
Had a day off today and had a lovely day
Managed to dry two loads of washing outside and had a load of logs delivered.
Have about £40 to last till the 24th but don't have anything left to buy, so should be ok till then. The car is half full and since I've moved, half a tank has lasted me a week. I can't believe the difference :T
So far its great being back, been catching up with old friends this afternoon. People keep telling me its nice to see me with a smile on my face.................I must have been a right miserable old ***** for years! Funny how no one said anything!
Its been a full house here this evening. DS3 was here till about 8.30pm. My brother and SIL called and now have BF and his DS2 here staying over - never a dull moment
One good thing about moving back home is.......when people come over [STRIKE]for a nose [/STRIKE]to say welcome home , they bring a bottle of wine with them
Tomorrow's job is to start listing on ebay. My new target is to sell enough to cover the stamp duty on a new house (or as close as I can get to it).
The bookshelf came today and its gorgeous. It doesn't really fit here, but will look fab when I eventually get my "forever" house.
Unfortunately, working Sat and Sun, but time and a half for both days means an extra day's pay :T

I can't believe I haven't been here since the 16th March!
Things have been pretty hectic since the house move and I can't believe its been almost a month. I'll admit to spending a little bit more than I should, but I've had to buy a new hoover and bits and bobs for the house such as new curtains and blinds.
I'm back to lurking on here now though, reading everyone else's diaries for inspiraton and determined to get the spending back under control and start saving again.
Actually, its not all bad news, my bank loan is now under the 17k mark..............I'm really proud of that :j
Since the move, my petrol spend has been almost halved and so far, heating this place costs less than half what the old place cost so I've more money left at the end of the month to throw at the savings account (in principle if I don't spend it on other things!).
The BIG news is that BF has moved in. Well, he was spending most of his time at mine anyway, so it makes sense. The boys are happy with the situation. DS3 is here three times a week (he's staying here tonight) and DS2's been here a few times when he's been home from Uni. I've also had BF's DS2 staying a couple of times (he's a lovely lad). We've also had his DS1 and GF over so there's never a dull moment here. I'm so glad we're sharing all the bills cos the grocery bill's gone through the roof!!!
No news on the divorce yet. Financial details have been exchanged, but nothing settled as yet. I'm not stressing about it, this little house is ideal for now. H's being a bit awkward, but that's nothing new.
The only blip on the horizon at the moment is trying to get my deposit back from the letting agent for the old house. I've been very patient so far, but the claws were out today so I'm hoping that did the trick. I won't get it all back, I hadn't realised I was liable for getting the chimney cleaned, but he can't withold anything else cos I left the place absolutely spotless (much cleaner than when I moved in!).
So there we are! So far so good! I just need to get my spending back under control so hopefully if I keep posting and reading other people's diaries, the occasional kick up the *** will keep me on the straight and narrow.
I'm off to update my signature now.

Brilliant news.
I have to admit I have lost my ways a bit in March, long month, bored of NSDs and in rebellion. Did quite a few spend of good quality gear for the house that I have been postponing. Not taking my sandwitches but switched to supermarket where I get all my lunch for the price of a salad in Eat.
Nice to see you backMFW on your mark0 -
Sorry but have to post and run. Great to hear from you especially as everythnig working out so well. 'Talk' soon.0

congrats on the move. Might it have been smarter to have some single time in the house? Not my call, but still.
Glad you are getting to see more of your DS's that must be great for you.
Hope you get all your deposit back
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?
