  • Ummm Play declined my order as my CC was declined :o I think it was the old number I had before it was replace so thats good, however means I have 3 prezzies less for xmas but I will find them somewhere...

Petrol cost £19.xx that fills her up and I was so lucky as only had £20. That will last until Mum pays me what she owes me :T Mouse cost £5.08 as the optical mouse that was online wasn't instore and the only one cheaper was a ball with no scroll wheel. I had £5.42 in my purse so all is good with that. So I have £0 in my purse and £2.xx floating in my current account.

Up and coming budget looks like...
    £120.00 ~ Rent
    £10.50 ~ House Insurance
    £35.00 ~ BT
    £19.00 ~ Dog Insurance
    £140.00 ~ Loan
    £80.00 ~ Petrol
    £10.00 ~ RAC
    £80.00 ~ Car tax
    £328.95 ~ Argos

    Total £823.45

So no car saves but Argos (for me) will be clear :j :j But more importantly apart from the loan for my car debt free!

That then leaves Nov and Dec in which to cover xmas, save and decorate the bathroom. Unsure what to do about the cat, we really need him done as we have mangey horrible foxes around here that come out in the daylight but I don't know if I can afford the £50 this coming payday... Unless I use my paypal pennies

Yes all in, 2 boxes and phone is £32 a month. This month because of all the credits (you pay a month in advance) the bill was only £9.xx, which I payed so we didn't get a late payment fee. I have now banned everyone from using the phone and I am getting Mum a mobile for xmas that she can top-up £10 a month on and get 100min free to landline and mobiles :D

New account has been set up with the Coop. Its a smart saver which is basically a savers account with little interest and a debit card. I couldn't apply for a current account as it requires a bacs payment into it each month. So thats done, once the pack comes I will put some money into it until I can get a SO set up to transfer my car money each month.

So my plan is to close my CC account and one of my current accounts with Natwest. That will leave me one current account, one loan account, coop account and my Halifax isa. Then in the new year I will start overpaying my loan. My base bills (inc loan repayment and car saves) are £434.50 which leaves £400 excess each month  So if i can overpay by £200 per month that will reduce the term by 2 months each month. So if I overpay £200 Jan till May I could clear the loan in June. Just one month after I wanted it clear and 11 months earlier than the repayment date :j That would mean I would then have a £540 disposable income

Sounds like a plan! I am thinking if I do that and have it cleared June 2012 I will plan to go to Paris (one of my dreams) May 2013 as I could save over £300 per month for that :T

    Edit.... CC has gone

  • End of the month round up and a big decision :o

So my target was 24 NSD's this month and managed 23, not too bad. So next month I am aiming for 24 again to see if I can reach it or not. With my payapl money I used the £50 on petrol/groceries, £11 on toys for the christmas boxes and £10 on three xmas gfts. I have £27.xx left in there which once I know all items have arrived safely will be removed and prob used for petrol.

Now I don't want to go into detail but I have a 'new' job, but with that I have a decision. I can either do that alongside a job I have now and continue to take home £850 min or just do that job dropping 7.45 hours a week. It's complicated but don't want to go into detail as I maybe found out :o If I drop the hours I am guessing (after tax etc) I will prob only take home £750 but I could claim some WTC min of £50 I think. So this will stall my plans of repaying my loan as fast as I thought it would, which is the decision. The only way I could offset this is if I could find smething to do from home to make a few extra pennys?

    So yeah big decision

Just concentrating on the one job and making it actually work. At the moment I feel pulled, I think it doesn't help that they are in the same building iyswim. When I am in one job I am always thinking if the other job is ok, then when I am at the other job I am wondering how much stuff will be left for me at the other :o Also I am fed up of other workers coming to me complaining about the other job while I am at the other

I think in the long run I have made my mind up but it means the loan will not be cleared until maybe July/Aug depending how frugal I can be  Just feels as though I had made my mind up to get it cleared and alas it won't like I have failed somehow, I know I am mad :rotfl:
