iTunes 12 Days of Christmas!

This Christmas season we've teamed up with iTunes to offer you and your friends some fantastic festive freebies!

Check out this very page between 26th December and 6th January where you'll have access to 12 Days of Christmas, offering FREE downloads from a fantastic selection of songs, music videos, apps, books, TV episodes and even a film, all of which you'll be able to grab using iTunes.

I didn't download it from iTunes (I have "friends with eye patches" in Sweden to download it from, haha) and watched half of it. Got bored. If theres anything good this time then I may get it.

Lol at this "we've teamed up" statement- I got the email from Itunes itself and they are doing this by themselves, not with Game! (Unless there are additional free downloads which have the exact same slogans and images which somehow I doubt) Game are shameless!

We enjoyed (most of) last year's selection. Downloaded this year's app and ran it by chance on Friday to find there was an 'extra' gift available only for that day. 3 tracks by Kylie Minogue. Not available yesterday, app had gone back to opening screen stating time to start of 12 Days.

Thought it worth mentioning on basis there might be other odd 'extras' before the official start. Trivial Pursuit was our favourite free app last year.

Just bumping this to bring it higher up in freebies. The active thread on the itunes 12 days giveaways is in the music moneysaving board - which sort-of makes sense, except that a lot of it isn't music, so it might have been better placed here.

This year itunes seem to have a definite bias towards owners of ipads, iphones and ipod touches - so if, like me, you've not got one of those you might find what they're offering is useless...
