unless it shows 70% falls Year on Year it won't be the same 'round my way' or it's rigged by the government0 -

Two darts

here's the thing abacus - all the indexes always show the same trend (up or down).
they all use different algorithms and basically come back wit hthe same thing - are you claiming that all of them are rigged?
No, I'm claiming they have nothing to do with 'average' house/home values.0 -
Or like inflation CPI or RPI, let's just swap between the two and take some things out ... I know let's remove house price costs so we can keep inflation low (Gordon Brown) and if house prices are falling we can re-introduce house price costs to keep inflation low (Osbourne?).CRASH_BANG_WALLOP wrote: »as long as the government doesnt fix it like they fix unemployment figures
and there are only 2.45m unemployed the other 5.5m are not working but are not unemployed0 -
so how come they all come up with the same trend on house prices - all of them have nothing to do with 'average' house/home values?

They are closed systems and are not open to outside peer review, hence are scientifically worthless statistics.
They rely on people believing in them, rather than basis in fact. Rather like religion.0
