child's drum kit

Hi

My 5 year old son has been asking for a drum kit for Christmas. I haven't had chance to start my Christmas shopping yet.

Anyone any ideas where I can get a drum kit from for a 5 year old. I've tried elc and argos but no offers on. I was hoping to spend less than £50.

B&M have them in if you have one near you, can't remember how much but will be around £19.99 I think!

do you have a game console such as a wii, PS2 - PS3 or Xbox?
it could be worth getting Rock Band 1 or 2 and the Drum controller - you may be able to pick up a bargain from somewhere like gamestation. (I picked up a drumkit earlier in the year for just over £20 and the game may be down to under £10 in some places).
the game has a wide range of rock songs and as he improves he can change the difficulty to match. Of course it isn't a real drum kit, but it got me a good headstart into drumming - taking drum lessons now and have own (electronic) kit.
