Although i don't want to put people off posting comps if they think they have found one can you just bear in mind that for the time being search isn't working/working properly:)

Been inundated with merges today for this reason;)

Just to clarify - Search is not finding any comps posted since 10:05 on Friday morning 03/12.

This is 19 pages of comps at the time I posted this.

Google can be used to search eg "shloer site:moneysavingexpert.com" will find the shloer comps, but it is not infallible and will not find very recent posts.

I would also like to add that we do have such brilliant BG's on the Comps board, at the best of times.
Their patience must be tried terribly at times like this... :eek:
I remember earlier in the year, when the search went bananas, with the forum upgrade... :eek:
Every time the poor souls signed onto MSE, they were faced with merges left right and centre...
They coped admirably I must say... :beer:
I would also like to point out to folks, that they do give their time up of their own free will to keep the Boards running smoothly with merges, GO etc (They are not paid to do so)... :T

Wish this had been bumped before I just posted another dupe!
To be honest, I have held off posting comps as I know search has been playing up, but I knew the one I just duped wasn't on the site when I looked this morning.
I did post a warning simliar to this when Search first started playing up, but it was moved to Discussions (where it's now buried) with the comment that moving it from the main boards had created extra work...
