Print off your own gift token with things on them offering to do something for the receipient that doesnt cost money for example:-

    * This voucher entitles you to one free nights baby sitting from me
    * This vouchers entitles you to one free car wash from me
    * This voucher entitles you to one free day of pampering
    * This voucher entitles you to one hour free session of cleaning/ironing

& Similar stuff Have fun trying to make up treats to offer to someone special.

  • Schedule some games into the day - we play charades and that one where you stick a famous name on your head and have to try and guess who you are - great laughs, especially when grandma gets someone like Luther Vandross! or Dizzy Rascal (who!!!!).

Yerh like my 16 year old cousin giving my 54 year old auntie Bruno Mars!

No not a grabbit, maybe this thread could be moved to the Christmas and Occasions board.

I love the voucher idea, I would be well happy if someone gave one of those to me!
Debt free since July 2013! Woo hoo! The bank actually laughed when I said I have come in to cancel my overdraft.

    So, where's the grabbit?! :rotfl:
  • We've done all our shopping etc. for the kids, in-laws etc and are left with just the two of us.
This the first year ever where I've been able to turn to my wife and tell her not to waste any money on me.
There is literally NOTHING that I want for Christmas......... and there's no point her just getting me £50 worth of stuff that I'll never use.

I'm doing this for my sister - as part of her present she is getting an IOU of 'one trip to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, plus snacks and brews'.
