Came in under budget for last week - I'm allowed £50 a week and only spent £38.46.

2nd gym session of the week at lunchtime. Need my arms to look nice in my wedding dress!0

I brought my nephew a 1st bday card for £2.90 yesterday and had a BK wrap on the way home as was out drinking - free drinks at work! So spent around a fiver. Not good for the diet though - consumed way too many nibbles :O(
Got bday drinks tonight so looking forward to that! Aim to spend £20.0

            Hi there
I've decided to start a wedding diary – mainly focusing on saving for the wedding which is 6 months tomorrow. Payday was yesterday so today seems like a good day to start a diary!
 Brief background:
Been engaged since 30th June, getting married 9th April 2010.
Venue booked – it's going to cost us £5875, £1,000 paid, want to pay the remainder by the end of the year to avoid the 20% VAT.
Registrar booked: cost us £403. PAID.
 Dress brought: Cost £875. PAID.
DJ booked: £500, £150 paid so far, remainder to be paid on the day.
 My wages £1,998.50
 OH's wages £1,726.79
 Total: 3725.29
Our outgoings are around £2,300 a month – this includes mortgage, phone bill, food shopping, credit card payments (all on 0%), student loan, council tax, etc.
So this should leave us with around £1400 a month.
We've given ourselves £50 a week each spends which is £400 a month and leaves us with around £1,000.
I had a no interest loan with work of £150 a month which has now been paid off and OH got a pay rise which gives us an extra £36.49 a month so that's £186.49. I rounded that up to £200 and have put that straight into a savings account.
Leaves us with around £800 a month which technically should be able to go towards the wedding.
After the wedding I want to start concentrating on overpaying our mortgage – we get charged £1000 a month interest currently! So it's good to get into the saving mode.
 So here's day 1's rundown:
No money spent, brought lunch in from home and going straight home after work. Dinner will be leftover curry and rice.
I wouldnt pay anymore...it seems to me you have missed your own wedding 0 0

LOL meant to say 9th April 2011!
blew the budget on friday night! no more spending till next week when I get my new allowance of £50. I've got a cold so can't see myself wanting to go out - I have spent all day on the sofa today! Poor me!!0

Checked my balance this morning online and realised I took out another £10 on Friday night over my £50 budget! BAD BAD BAD!
So THAT's why I had that change in my purse LOL0

Also cancelled a night out tonight and tomorrow night due to illness plus there's a tube strike looming - saves money!0

Just sent the menu and the schedule of the day to the organisers and DJ!
Husband-to-be has booked his stag do - he's off surfing in Gran Canaria.
I've been on at my bridemaids to book my hen party! I can't wait!
I had a moment today when I imagined myself walking down the aisle and felt all overwhelmed!0

New money week for me - have spent £59.69 this week so £9.69 over budget. Not bad seeing as I was over a tenner down last week 0 0
