Am I right in thinking that you each have an account into which your salary is paid, and then transfer an amount in a joint account that is used for running the house. Presumably anything left in own account is for each of you to do with as you wish.

The amount for your council tax, is that payable over 10 months, or have you divided the yearly amount by 12?

We run the same separate accounts system, so I know where you are coming from.

What about some of the mystery shopper sites, they could be done in a luch hour if you work in or close to a town centre?

Yeah we do have separate accounts and pay into a joint, just seemed the easiest way, the joint account is the only one that never goes overdrawn! As for money thats left over (which is not a lot) is used to pay a little extra off things.

I have just registered with a mystery shopper website that someone was talking about so fingers crossed for that.

As for ebay, i'm sure we have stuff, just getting round to getting it on there.... will do it though as the quicker we do that the quicker the debts will go down.

As for mystery shops, I have 5 lined up for next week.
3 slap up meals and two visits.
The meals do not pay but it is 3 nights out we would not have had.
