Too add to the above re:soap; get a cheese slicer or cheese wire, cut your soap up, seems to make it last longer and becomes more travel friendly which is great if you go to the gym alot.0

I don't know about Booker, but here in Bristol, Asda in Patchway is nearly always cheaper than Macro, at least on stuff I need.0

I use a lot of ground coffee - anybody know where to buy in bulk?0

Bum wipes
Asda often do Andrex wipes for a pound a pcka instead of something like £1.80. You need to be careful though, check the plastic boxed ones as well as the refills. At the moment my local Asda have the boxed ones at a £1 but the refills (which are supposed to be cheaper aren't they?) are at £1.20 The thing is they don't go off so I pop to the back of the cupboard until needed.
I think the best thing to look at is does it have a 'use by date'. If it does be careful unless it's a large volume usage item in your household.

I normally take an easyJet sale flight to Spain every couple of months to stock up for my 30 a day Marlboro habit - even with the exchange rate, they're half the price you'd pay over here. My carry on board case hold 2200, so even with a night's hotel and train fare, I still save a fortune.
I now read though that a complete smoking ban is coming in over there in the new year. As I like a beer or two in the evening whilst on a trip, this is not good news for me.
Does anyone know what the customs limits are now for the eastern European countries these days? ie has it gone up from 200 to the "old" EU countries limit of 3200? Also do you know about any smoking bans in these countries?
Sorry if I'm using the wrong place for this but I am a "bulk buyer" !!0 -
I followed Martin's advice on going down a level on products, and ended up with Tesco Value coffee at 48p for a 100gm jar. I get through gallons of it, and also, I've yet to have a visitor complain, or refuse a second cup.0
