Why don't i feel relieved????

I went bankrupt yesterday but feel rubbish still :o(

had a call from the OR office today & they have told me they may take my car off me, its 10 yrs old & only worth 500!!!!

I feel churned up, sick & migraine since coming out of court, i thought i'd feel great but still really stressed & scared about it all

Not many ppl know that i've gone BR so this is really the only place i can chat about it, so i'm sorry for sounding off on here!!!!

    hey huni

it took me about 6 months for it to kick in - after a hell of a lot of !!!!!! went after BR - including the break down of my marriage, then one day I just burst into tears for no reason other that it has sank in, it was a very mix emotions happy debt is gone, sad because of the BR and everything.

I'm no 47 days from AD and my life is 100000% better than this time last year. but I will admit its very hard , so dont worry what you are feeling is normal xxxxx

ahh i'm sorry you feel so down. as curly says it takes some time to sink in, for me the relief wasn't immediate, and i still struggle sometimes now. what you are feeling is normal, but you will feel better, just give yourself time. go and have a rest, try and keep that migraine at bay (evil things!) and we're here to talk if you need to x

Takes a long time for the stress to wear off! I was worried about my OR interview too, but it turns out he had very little interest in anything of ours, I needed the car for work so we got to keep it (worth approx 3.5k) and weren't asked to contribute anything out of our wages. It's definately scary but as long as your honest you'll be fine. x

    Fight to keep the car.
If you're a carer mention it.
If you need the car for work mention it and get the boss to phone, write to the OR.
If you aren't on a bus route or near a village shop mention it.

Remember the worse they can say is no.

    Good Luck!
