Just as a thought for all these kind of things, wasn't it made illegal to ask for money in order to get a job in about 1998 to stop this kind of thing happening. Thus anyone asking for money up front for any equipment or materials for a job is illegal thus a scam?

I think this works on the basis you are not working for them, your working for yourself. So your paying for your startup costs like you would setting up any business. The scam with these is they are doing nothing you cant find online for free and can learn how to do it for free as well. The money to be made is alot only if what your site does is in demand. Like if you was the founder of facebook.

  • Hi

Somehow.. I had a browser window open advertising this site. I don't remember clicking on anything. It was advertised in a news article (news11).

    Possibly a spamming trick..

My browser opened it automatically for me as well (just now). News 9 was the title of my fake newspaper. I can't believe people fall for this rubbish. I googled their name and loads of people have parted with cash. What a money maker for these crooks.

There is a good report on this scam.
It is on raiefdotcom (raief) I can not post the link since I am new to this forum.

There is another thread on this forum, Working from home.

They (the scammers) have been around for years and keep changing websites, blog sites, and locations to try to avoid prosecution and to try and keep being able to steal money from people.

It is a well organized scam with a lot of support. The FBI has been after these people behind these scams for over two years and still have not been able to catch any of them.

Apparently they are offshore or in Cyprus. At least that is what some researchers believe.

The main thing is to keep alert and when you discover these types of scams help everyone by posting any information that you find out.
  • Shame on Facebook for allowing ads for this Automated Home Profits scam to run on their website:

Ad says jobsonlinetoolkit.com but actually goes to another site: newsdaily7.com (fake news website)

I just followed this link on my facebook, mainly because its been there every day for weeks now and was a bit curious why FB felt the need to throw this at me everyday. They set up a pretty convincing story with a news article affiliated to the Telegraph, BBC and others. They even have a comments bit at the bottom with lots of positive reviews, only thing is when you scroll further down you realise they are repeated and also people have normal names and not seXyK456 and stuff, you know its a scam if people seem normal and nice! Also the links at the top don't work so thats a bit of a givaway. I can see why people fall for it, some people assume that the net is just as trustworthy and well regulated as any other real world advertisement or company and when they're only asking for $1.95 to start off its always tempting for those who are desparate.
