Phones 4u Competition Addicts! - Ultimate 'Back to Uni' Package.

Terms and Conditions


(1) This competition is open to all UK residents aged 18 or over, excluding employees of Phones 4u, or any of their subsidiary companies, their families, agents or anyone else connected with this promotion.

(2) This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. You understand that you are providing your information to Phones 4u and not to Facebook. The information you provide will only be used for the purpose of selecting a winner and then to establish contact to confirm the win.

(3) The closing date for entries is (Midnight 20th September 2010). Entries received after that date will not be entered into the competition.

(4) You can enter the Promotion through the fbml application on the Facebook Platform. You can also find the application on the 'Competitions!' tab on the Phones 4u Page on Facebook:

• Click on the Phones 4u 'Competitions!' Tab and activate the competition section.
• Enter your Name, City, Telephone Number and Email Address into the Competition Tab.
• Then tell us the answer to the question 'What does SU stand for' by clicking in the appropriate field on the 'Competitions!' Tab.

(5) The winner will be selected by Phones 4u, at Phones 4u’s absolute discretion from all valid entries and notified by telephone between 1pm and 6pm on Tuesday 21st September 2010. Phones 4u’s decision is final. If Phones 4u is unable to trace the winner within this time period then Phones 4u will be entitled to withdraw the offer and another winner will be selected at random.

(6) There are 3 prize bundles of Toshiba L450 Laptop, Lec Mini Refridgerator, ASOS voucher worth £100, Rymans Student Stationary Pack and a 25 piece kitchen set. There will be three winners, each receiving one prize bundle.

(7) Phones 4u reserves the right to substitute a prize of the same, higher or lower value should the specified prize become unavailable for reasons beyond its control. Cash or credit alternatives will not be offered. The prize is not transferable in the event of fraud, abuse, and/or an error affecting the proper operation of the promotion, including the allocation of more prizes than are available. Phones 4u reserves the right to end or suspend the promotion or to amend these terms & conditions.

(8) The winners may be required to participate in publicity connected with this promotion and it is a condition of entry that the winner(s) agree to their name and country of residence being made publicly available if they win.


(9) Phones 4u will not be liable for any failure of receipt of entries and takes no repsonsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, illeligable, corrupted, damaged, incomplete or otherwise invalid.

(10) If any provision of these terms and conditions is held invalid by any law, rule, order or regulation of any government, or by the final determination of any court of a competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the enforceability of any other provisions not held to be invalid.

(11) Phones 4u’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

(12) This promotion is governed by English law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
