HELP! Anyone using CCCS?

Hi, I am quite new to this. Just wanted a bit of advice. I finally faced up 2 our debt about 3 months ago, and it was a shock 2 realise we owe more than £10,000!! So I went online and sorted us out with a company called Gregory Pennington. They gave me a lot of advice, but I found them a bit pushy. My OH discussed with a colleage our circumstances, and he suggested we speak 2 the CCCS. Before we sign up with them, I just wanted 2 ask if anyone has used them, any problems or any similar companies who they may have been used. Thanks.

CCCS are a debt charity similar to Citizens Advice or National Debtline, and as such are one of the 'good guys'. Don't go with gregory pennington. Any company like that will charge a fee and either push a DMP or a IVA which both have high fees, money which could be going towards your debt. Also they push those where it may be more suitable (And cheaper...) to do something else.
CCCS give online and phone advice, as do National Debtline. If you prefer face to face advice then go to CAB. None of them charge a fee but for something like a debt relief orders/bankruptcy etc there may be court fees etc involved, but your advisor will talk you through everything.
I hope that helps!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

CCCS have helped me more than I could ever imagine anyone would. They are fantastic to deal with and so so supportive of your situation.
I could of been in a right old pickle if CCCS hadn't helped me.
Give them a call and start the ball rolling and you will immediately feel like a huge weight has been lifted.0 -
I'm just starting my DMP with the CCCS... so far i've found them to be helpful , efficent and more importantly non-judgemental.0

Just started a dmp with cccs and had been ringing round my creditor explaining the position. One even said they were glad we've gone with the CCCS as they would be more considerate than if we were paying money each month to a private debt management company.0
