I will be coming to London with my mum for a St John Ambulance investature at The Priory, St John's Gate
Can anyone recommend somewhere to eat lunch in the area which isn't going to be too expensive? We are thinking sandwiches/jacket potatoes/salad rather than a dinner.
We are travelling by train to Farringdon and then walking to St John's Gate.
Thanks

For the record, we found a little italian wine bar called Anabellas (or something similar). Not sure of the exact address but you could see the St John Priory from the window. I think it was in Clerkenwell Rd.
Had a very nice chicken dish and a drink for £5.50 which I guess is good value.
My mum had a huge bagette and salad which looked delicious too.7 Angel Bears for LovingHands Autumn Challenge. 10 KYSTGYSES. 3 and 3/4 (ran out of wool) small blanket/large square, 2 premie blankets, 2 Angel Claire Bodywarmers0
