If you were together, Why WOULDN't you share everything?
Not trying to sound deliberately mean but you can't seriously hope to retreive eveything you have spent on him during the "good times"
I can't make sense of some of your post but I can't see anywhere in it which suggests you had a formal loan arrangement.
A lot of people brings lots of assets into marriage....and lose the whole lot come the separation.Beware of imitations e.g. Robert Sterling0 -

Sad as it seems, I can't see you achieving anything unless you can PROVE the money was a loan, although it certainly doesn't sound like it was loaned.0

So you were paying for your mortgage, the insurances on both properties, all of the bills, his bike, and the wedding. AND you bought him a £9000 car, for which you no doubt paid insurance and running costs? And he had a £2.5k monthly salary and income from a rented property? If I were you, I'd put this one down to experience and next time, keep your money to yourself. If you don't know what your partner is spending his money on then you can bet that he has something to hide. Sorry to be so blunt!"I may be many things but not being indiscreet isn't one of them"0

I think we've either got a new poster with two separate accounts, or a couple has decided to use MSE in lieu of their solicitors/Relate - https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2704737.0

I don't believe it, Thank you so much for letting me know.
I can assure you relate won't work and my solicitor seems to be good, well she better bet at £180 plus vat and hour.
Thank you so much, I will refrain from putting anything on here. However, nice confession from him on this thread.0 -
I would forget Relate. The further away form this idiot you get the better, anulment all the way if possible.
Be careful with Solicitors though, they make a pretty profit from your misery.
Remember the Solicitor is working for YOU.
Give instructions to the Solicitor, go elsewhere for advice (somewhere which isn't charging you over £200 an hour to sympathise).0
