Hello I recently got six emails asking for money which I had to send them. The first five emails I got are for £18.93 and then one for £25.36. So I sent the money with the information that I was given which was there Bank information and Transaction numbers to send all six individually payments to the same account. I sent the money through HSBC and payed in cash with one of those slips bank provide and payed all six payments to the cashier in HSBC. I got my recipes and was told could take upto 4 worknig days for money to be paid into the account I sent it to. But one payment I made on 6th August has gone through but the company I sent it to told me they cannot find it even though on emails said they could track it when I added transaction number with the money. Same happened on 10th August when I made 5 payments into the account and only one of those went through but the other five dident which makes no sense. I went to HSBC and they said they have all been payed in to the account I sent it to. Then I got email off Webbiling.com saying they cannot find it. Bank advised me to copy and send recipes I got off bank to prove I have sent they money and webbiling said there is no proof it doesent show any information. Then I was told to send bank statement but my bank advised me not to plus on my bank statement doesent even show information becuase I dident pay from my account I wired money directly to there account. So they asked me if I was original owner and I conformed that I was and sent the adress and branch information to webbiling.

Can anyone help me cause it's abit weird I'm being told to inform company and HSBC isent helping me hardly at all?:( any advise would be good.

I'm sorry but your post is not very clear!

This is what I think you are saying

    1. You got some bills via email (presumably for something that you bought).
    2. You paid in cash at an HSBC branch. You kept the receipts and they show the amount you paid.
    3. The company have received some of the payments but not all.
    4. HSBC say the deposits have been made.
    5. You have sent copies of the deposit receipts, but the company say this is not enough.
    6. You want to know what to do next

Please reply to say if what I have written is what you meant

    Also can you say
    1. Did you write the deposit slips and are you sure that the account you wrote in was the same
    2. Which company are you paying
    3. Can they give you a paying in book or can you pay from your bank account

Company is Webbiling.com ltd. The emails are for something I bought six times. According to the HSBC branch I payed the money to the webbiling accounts all the money has been sent with all correct ammounts but Webbiling cannot find the payments that I have made to them. I can only contact the company by email and it takes forever for them to reply. They dident give me any specific ways to pay the money in so I payed in cash at the bank.
I sent copies of the deposits recipes but webbiling said that there is not enough evidance to show the account details and the Transaction ID's so they can track the payments.

Webbiling seem to be a company who take payments for other companies - normally by direct debit.

Have any of your payments gone through to them?

It might be that unless the transaction ID was on the payments, they cannot be linked to you.

The payments did not come from your account, but they were processed by the bank. I would guess that there would be an account number than would show up on webilings records.

So go to the bank and ask them what account would show up on the transaction when you pay a bill in the way you did.
Then email webiling and confirm again that you paid via cash at the bank and ask them to locate payments made to them via the account number you have been given (give them the day and time that you paid as well).

I searched for Webbiling.com to see if I could find anything out about them that might help. I came across Webbilling.com (note the double l) based in the Netherlands. For companies offering services/goods online, Webbilling.com provides a facility that allows these companies' European customers to pay by direct debit.

Is this the same company you've been dealing with? If so, the website contains some additional contact details (including an address and phone number).

You also seem to be able to login to the site using a Secure PIN and Transaction ID. Do you have this information so you could login and (I assume) see some sort of account details?

  • Webbiling asked me for the HSBC Bank details so I gave them the adress and also the Branch number I dunno if that will help them but worth a shot till banks open again bank holidays unfortunetly.
  • I have the transaction ID's but I dunno hwat they mean by secure Pin's any idea's silly question but best to ask.
