A question for those in the know...
I am currently getting my cc debt paid off then I need to decide if Im going to pay off student loans for myself and OH or try to 'pay off' first plus loan.
The question is...is it going to be any help to pay off my first plus loan or not? Its got about 8 years to run yet so I cant pay it off in a big chunk. The balance is about 18K and I pay £337 a month.
Or would I be better paying my student loans off?

Hi issy,
It's up to you really, although I would always try to pay off the most expensive one first and I'm willing to bet it's going to be the firstplus loan. I realise you can't clear it, but paying money towards it will reduce the time to pay and should save money in interest payments/charges.
Good luck with whatever you decideIf you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.
