I'm planning B/R but need to get a new job first (my existing job has a B/R clause).
I've got an interview later this week - the salary is higher and I would get an IPA ( I've worked out that the surplus income would be about £130.00 so the IPA would be £65.00).
And there could be an annual bonus circa £1k - I know I have to tell the OR about it.
I'm guessing that all of it would go to the OR (I do understand if that's the case).
But just so I know - are you "allowed" to keep any of it?

It is totally down to the OR. Some take a portion and others take the lot. I've seen smaller sums be taken and some not.
I would expect the lot to go to the OR and if you are left some then that is a bonus.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -
Thanks Tigerfeet,
I'll work on the basis that they'll want the full bonus - and anything left is a plus.
Anyway I'll be happy just to get the job - and never mind about the bonus.0 -
