Wilkinson's

So, having gone into Wilkinson's yesterday for the first time ever, I'm curious to know what other DFWs buy in there. I bought soap, toothpaste and Stardrops (58p!) but did notice that bin bags were a bargain for a huge roll of 30 so will be back for them at some point. Any other suggestions most welcome

Washing powder etc. is really cheap in Wilkos. Microfibre cloths (I love the label that says 'do not dryclean'!). Household stuff like knives, breadboards, storage boxes for your OS cooking and freezing frenzies. Toys, printer paper. I can't think what else I buy there at the momeht, but I agree it's a great shop.Debt at highest: £6,290.72 (14.2.1999)

I love Wilkos because it shares its name with me!
On a more serious note, they have a fantastic Savings Stamps deal, which means that once you've bought 19 £1 stamps at the till (not sure yet if you can buy them all at once or whatever) they'll add £1 for free.
This means that provided you would spend £20 in Wilkos anyway, you get an instant 5.26% return on your money, giving savings accounts a run for their money... :T
Unless of course I've completely misunderstood the offer. The saving stamp collector is available by the till - have a look!Due 26th April 2008 :j0 -
Cool, thanks all! When pay day comes I'll be back in there...Debt at highest May 2006: £27,472.24

I buy toothpaste, sandwich bags, greaseproof paper, anything & everything! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0
