Prize Draw Terms and Conditions
  1. Entry to the Prize Draw implies acceptance of the following Terms and Conditions.
  2. Entrants must be aged 18 years or over. Entrants must not be employed by Intel Corporation US, its affiliates and subsidiaries or must not be related to their families, or persons directly involved in the administration of this Prize Draw. Void where prohibited. This offer is open to residents of the United Kingdom only. All national and local laws and regulations apply. The Prize Draw is governed by the laws of England and Wales and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
  3. How to enter: To be eligible for this competition you must be a registered member of IT Galaxy UK, and allowed your contact information to be used by IT Galaxy UK for the purpose of future communications (opt-in). Entrants to the competition agree to be contacted directly by Intel.
    Participants will be required to answer one quiz question. Winners will be chosen at random from the list of correct quiz entries.
    Your personal data will be used exclusively for IT Galaxy UK, its affiliates and subsidiaries’ marketing purposes and the data might be transferred, stored and processed in the United Kingdom.
    Entry to the competition is restricted to one entry per household. Participants to this contest accept that Intel UK (“Intel”) may name the winners of the prizes in public.
    There will be no acknowledgement of the entry other than the confirmation page displayed subsequent to clicking the ‘Submit’ button.
  4. No purchase is necessary. All correct entries will be entered into the draw and 1 winner will be selected for the 1st prize, 4 for the 2nd prize and 10 for the 3rd prize. Winners will be drawn from all valid entries received from all applicable countries. The competition will run from 14th June until 20th August 2010. Subsequent entries will be automatically disqualified, unless otherwise stated by IT Galaxy UK. Entries become the property of Intel and will not be returned. The draw will take place on 23rd August. The winners will be notified by email by the 24th August . Please allow up to 28 days for delivery of your prize.
  5. Intel cannot accept any responsibility for entries not received because they have been lost, or delayed in the post, e-mail or web entry (or not received due to interrupted connections or miscommunications, or other electronic malfunctions) or not received due to lost, late, mutilated, illegible or incomplete entries. Any entries found to be duplicate or fraudulent will result in the participant being excluded from the contest.<LI sizset="46" sizcache="1">The prizes available are: 1st prize - 2 tickets to Intel’s IDF in San Francisco. The prize will include 2x tickets to the event, 2x flights to San Francisco from Heathrow, and accommodation for two at a San Francisco Hotel. Any other travel expenses are the responsibility of the winners and will not be remunerated by Intel or IT Galaxy UK. 2nd prize – 4x laptops powered by Intel® Core™ i5 processors. 3rd prize – 10x 160GB external hard drives. Prize(s) are not transferable and cash alternatives will not be available. The 1st prize winner must notify IT Galaxy UK to state whether they are able to attend Intel IDF by the 26th August by emailing [EMAIL="Sukhjit.k.dhillon&#64;intel.com"]Sukhjit.k.dhillon@intel.com[/EMAIL] (01793 403 636). If the winner does not notify IT Galaxy, their tickets will be given to the next eligible winner.
  6. Entrants agree that Intel Corporation US and its subsidiaries, as well as Intel Corporation US or its subsidiaries’ advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents will have no liability whatsoever, and will be held harmless by winners for any injuries, losses or costs or damage of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of a prize or parts thereof, or from participation in this Prize Draw.
  7. Intel reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions and to suspend or terminate the competition at any time and for any reason, without notice. Intel makes no commitment to update information contained herein. It is a condition of entry that the rules are accepted as final, and that the entrants agree to abide by the rules.
  8. The judge is Intel and its decision will be final and legally binding. Final prizes are to be defined on Intel’s sole discretion. Intel will not enter into correspondence on any matter to do with the Prize Draw.
  9. Should tax liability arise, then it will be the responsibility of the winners to notify their own Government's relevant tax department. Intel Corporation US and any of its subsidiaries take no responsibility or liability for taxation or for any other costs incurred in connection with the prizes received in this promotion.
  10. The duration of the Prize Draw is from the 14th June to the 20th August .
  11. The promoter of this Prize Draw is Intel. This Prize Draw was administered by Sukhjit Dhillon.

    Yep, I was out of there like a ferret out of a hole. If a company can't even use a valid security certificate when it's business is web based I wouldn't trust them with my personal details as far as I can throw them :D
