Hi Everyone
I have a giant cup cake mould and wanted to make a cake for my sister's birthday. Does anyone have a suitable recipe?
The mould is huge , so not sure if this should determine the type of recipe I need?

edited to add link to picture - why do they never show on here? what am i doing wrong?

Firstly, will this actually fit into your oven? What is the actual measurements of the mould?
I wouldn't make a sponge- type cake bigger than a 12 inch diameter, in a home oven, as the outside would burn before the middle of the cake was cooked.
Often this type of cake is "built up" of several smaller cakes.0 -
yep, it will fit in the oven.. just!
i was thinking exactly the same; about the inside cooking before the outside burnt....
suppose i'd better get practising!0
