Doctors Who Kill is definitely not related to the famous "Doctor" series of movies starring Dirk Bogarde as Dr. Simon Sparrow, nor is it an episode of the 1970s television spin-off Doctor in the House which drew on the talents of Robin Nedwell, Barry Evans and Richard O'Sullivan. On which British author's books were these screen versions of life at St. Swithin's based?
