wedding shoes

Options
okay i have a problem, not an awful one but a problem just the same. i have two pairs of shoes (both funnily came in the post this morning) and i love them both my problem is i want them both as my wedding shoes lol

i have a lovely traditional wedding pair of shoes which you can see below (which i might actually dye purple), they'll be lovely with my dress (maggie s - adelaide)

and the funky pair of wedding shoes (which i'm keeping no matter what) again below

now which one do i choose for the big day?

i love them both and i suppose i could keep the iron fist shoes for my hen night and get a few funky pics taken with them on the big day but i want to wear them both lol

i think the more traditional ones would be less likely to shock my mum, she already knows i'm determined on purple shoes though! :rotfl:

    Nice shoes.

Wear them both then, one for the wedding/ceremony and one for the afters.

I wanted funky shoes, but couldn't find any in a low enough heel. :(

irregular choice do some lovely funky low heel shoes worth giving schuh a look online to see if there is anything that would suit you.

i suppose i could wear them both, the funkies are a little big (they didn't do half sizes so i'll have to try and insole). will give them both a try with the wedding dress and see which is the best.

I was going to say the same - traditional for the ceremony and funky for the evening....
Quite possible that your feet will swell a bit during the day anyway, so they might just fit perfectly..!!

    Good Find!!

I think the traditional for the day - keep on your mothers good side until the evening - also as someone mentioned if your feert swell the funky would be perfect for the night

thanks folks, that makes a great deal of sense and i can always have them with me so i can get some photos taken in them after the ceremony.

the best bit is that i got the traditional ones for £24.95 on ebay and the funky ones for £29.99 on ebay too.

two pairs for only £4.94 over ther £50 i'd budgeted for my wedding shoes lol

i'll definitely wear both again as well as they're very comfy
  • I was thinking exactly the same as what everyone was posting.

Wear the traditional one for the day and the purple ones for dancing in the evening! What fabulous pair of shoes...

i just love the fact that the heel is an ice cream cone on my funkies i've been drooling over them for ages, thought they would be too high for me but saw them on ebay at £29.99 (should really be £60ish) and the heels are only 3" and surprisingly comfy as i've been tottering round in them on and off at work today lol
