first time I've ever complained today and

Went to KFC at dinner, ordered 3 meals one without cheese or mayo but when I got them home, they'd ignored my request! Our came the yellow pages and I rung to complain:o

The result was we got a fresh new order AND a refund:T

Since I started doing Mystery Shopping, I've also noticed that I have more confidence in shops to make sure I get what I asked for!:o

Well done - if you don't ask you don't get. I really think this country is bad at complaining, I always do if there is a valid reason but my DH cringes if I do it.

Well done you! Too many Brits are too shy in complaining. I don't believe in whinging - but I want what I am paying for,

  • Nothing wrong with complaining for a genuine reason, you have paid for a service and if you don't get it then you should complain.:o

Just so long as you don't go OTT like my mother in law who can find something to complain about anywhere:mad:

I think it's just a mother-in-laws job to do that because mine does too:rotfl:

  • I never complain about a food order because I'm too scared I will get a little 'added extra' in my meal if I do...

  • When you pay for a service,a service is what you expect....

Thank god you realised before you ate it, what if you had been allergic.

My friend once went into mcdonalds and specifically asked for no onion bits on her burger as she is allergic and the person serving her said it would be seen to. Luckily she checked (as she does with all food) and if she had taken one tiny bite, she would have had a really bad reaction and been in hospital. She was then given vouchers to use just so she wouldn't go to the papers.

There are some companies who will go out of their way to help customers and others that just think 'tough'.

  • I have always complained when I haven't got what I've paid for. More often in writing as you can make sure that every detail is clear. One of my mate's calls me Voucher man for all the vouchers/ refunds I have got.

I can honestly say that I have never once tried to rip anybody off with a false complaint. It has only ever been for things like cold food/ or missing items off orders. Why should anyone effectivelythrow money down the drain. I for one certainly can't afford to
  • We are garbage at Customer Service in this country. The Americans get one of a hell things wrong but I go there several times a year and their CS is superb
