CCJ's
Even if you admit to the claim and ask for time to pay,is it true that you still have the CCJ issued against you ?
Thanks

Yes, it's confirmation that you owe that sum to that creditor.0

Not if you pay before the court hearing, or if you pay within (I think) 28 days from date of hearing (Actual clarification should be on the summons, but you can also ask at the court office - go in if it's local, or telephone if it's at a bulk handling court like Northampton).
But I wouldn't worry too much - a CCJ is not the end of the world - it affects your credit rating, sure, but may not, necessarily, stop you from getting credit.
If you do get a CCJ and pay it, you can ask for a 'Certificate of Satisfaction' there is a charge, but it is circulated to the credit reference agencies and although they will still show the judgement, for 6 years, theyt will mark it 'satisfied'.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
