New DFW'er

Hi

Thought I would say Hi. I have been lurking for about a week now and found some of the threads heartbreaking and others inspiring. I will keep logging on to keep motivated.

My secondary goal is to be a MFW as well, but first I will become debt free.

Good luck to all of you.

Regards

L R

  • Many thanks for your welcomes.

    No may about it.

I am already thinking about how to save money on a daily basis and send my spare cash to my credit card.

This is a new for me.

Does feel exciting about getting rid of my debt through my attitude and hard work and not chucking some kind of bonus at the debt, which I had done in the past. I also have had to readjust my attitude as I now work in the public sector due to downsizing and don't earn nearly as much as previously.

Also my change in attitude will mean that I won't let a debt build up again.

  • I am curious though.

On the left hand side of a message, it says for me that I have thanked 1 time in 1 post.

Does that mean the website noted the fact that I had used the word 'Thanks' in my previous posting and included it in the count?

This post may clarify that if have used the word Thanks, the count should be 3.

  • Nope my guessing was wrong.

I know I shouldn't post on my own threads but an answer to my question would be appreciated.

  • You now have two.

If someone likes your post or finds it helpful, they can click on the "thanks" button and that's what shows in your "score".

I've been lurking for a while too, getting some good hints, making good intentions - but my downfall is that I can't seem to stop buying dvds at the moment! Must try harder :o
  • Can I have one too? Just kidding.

Welcome, and be careful coz it's addictive.
