I currently run my own business, selling ladies handbags and purses, which is my core business, and then I have a couple of product that run alongside, cureenlty lingerie and Saress.
I was speaking to a friend at the weekend and she recommended Neal's Yard, we were both busy so didn't get around to having an in depth chat but thought I would ask you guys if you could tell me about your experience of Neal's Yard, good or bad ????

the stuff's ok, on the expensive side, but it's very popular with the chinese community. Apparently it suits their skin type. I know peeps in neals yard, but i decided not for me.I get paid to smell great :j0

I joined it last year as a consultant. The products are lovely.
However I was left out of pocket (didn't even manage to cover my start up costs - the demo kit is something like £80 - and have all but given up as a) booking parties once you have demonstrated to your friends and family can be a challenge and b) the products are VERY expensive compared with similar quality brands.
I did give it a good go, but the killer was doing an entire day at an eco fair before Christmas last year and selling NOTHING. Yes that's right, 50 mile round trip, hand picked potential customers, £6 parking £5 stall cost, 6 hours of my Saturday and NOT ONE SALE!
If you know lots of people who love pampering with plenty of disposable income, go for it.
I'm not knocking NYR, just my experience for what it's worth.Barclaycard 0% - [STRIKE]£1688.37 [/STRIKE] Paid off 10.06.120 -

Thanks Kate78 - I can totally empathise with your experience at the eco fair as I have had similar experiences and with a lot higher stall costs too.
One of my issues is that my core product - handbags - is very saturated and a lot of the fairs I do are inundated with stalls selling handbags hence my search for another product.
I guess I need to keep looking
