A background to my situation can be found here:

I'll attached a statement of affairs after it. Basically I am not sure if I should continue with self negotaiation or look for a DAS (Debt Arrangement Scheme) which is a protected Scottish Debt Management Plan to sort out my problems.
I owe around £29k. I have a monthly income of £1600. From the "snowball" calculator, "IF" Llyods TSB were to freeze the interest on my £15k credit card debt as Full and Final settlement I'd be looking to pay off this over 4 years with them accepting 80% F&F via a £12k settlement which they have indicated over the phone they'd accept. I am up to date with my other payments even though they are quite high.
I am due to speak to someone that CCCS recommened for Scotland. I just don't know if I'd be better someone representing to take the strain off me or if this would affect my "fair" credit rating and impact upon me for 6 years after.

I've already been through a detailed SOA looking at areas where I can save money. If (and I reckon I have to) sell my car, I'd be left with this situation....
