How do you keep Taekwondo suits white?

Options
Hi I just wondered if anyone had any OS tips for getting and then keeping Taekwondo suits white, my childrens are looking very grey. I've tried washing at 90 and vanish so far. Thanks in advance.

I always used biotex for my, and the kids suits and chucked them in the boil wash with the white sheets! kept them so sparkly white I actually got complimented on them by the sensei! Napisan would work too as I have used that on actual real terry nappies and white cotton sheets.

The lady who washes our chef whites swears by Daz and a 90º wash. I think Daz is biological, and I know when I washed my own whites I used to use Lidl biological powder and it did a far better job than non-bio. So if you've been using non-bio it might be worth switching to see if it makes a difference.

Bit strange, and I don't know if it would work on a whole TKD suit, but soluble asprin works really well if you've got whites that have yellowed a bit.

No measurements, as I usually just chuck a few in a bowl of hot water and soak the item, but a couple seem to work for shirts/pillowcases etc.
    Nobody I'd rather be ;)
  • I always use Glo White! I collect together any other white items eg bras, knickers, white shirts etc as well as Taekwondo suits and do a big 'white wash'. This works really well even on black belt suits with the black trim (doesn't seem to fade the black). 3 of my sons and myself are black belts and it has worked really well for us over the years.
