Wedding gift ideas for BF's sister

Hey, I'm trying to think of a creative gift for my boyfriend's sister & fiance as their wedding present. They're both quite "artsy" or musically inclined so I am trying to steer clear of engraved hi ball glasses et
I was thinking of a wedding album, and on the day I'd take photos of the guests and print them off for the couple, and stick them in the album? What do you think?
Any creative MSE's want to give me some ideas?

Hi Redding,
My OH has done this for a few friends at their weddings. It's your view of the wedding and most of the pics are ones that the professional photographer don't/can't capture (ie 1am drunken shennanigens!)
The first one he did made the bride cry! It is a lot of time and effort though! He edited all his pics and then printed them from photobox then stuck them in an album... Now he uses photobox and makes an album from them where they print the pics on the pages.
I think it's really nice and different!

Thanks Lisa

I mean, she's having a vintage 30's german dress, it's all just very...WOW. Out there and beautiful and artistic and I think something thoughtful might be better suited? Rather than a kettle or something that will break a few years down the line.
Ok sorted - and hopefully printing off photos won't cost a fortune! I'm trying to be MS as well, and with weddings it isn't very easy is it lol0 -
I've done a few photo boxes - got a wooden box with photo frames on the outside and albums inside. After the wedding I've printed up pics and put them into the albums and so far all happy couples have loved them!!! I would say to go for it!!!No longer ...tobe! Printing photos doesn't need to cost anything.......just search the forum for "free photos" or "Free prints" - everyone (tesco, asda, truprint, jessops) do them every so often - you just need to upload and they print them, and you collect.
I've done this sort of thing for a couple of friends, but used photos of their life up to the wedding day, and intermingled it with romantic quotes and poems...Why does nobody say Thank You anymore??:mad:Debt Free as of September 2011 :jSealed Pot 2009 number 334 - £100 Saved! yey!!Sealed Pot 2010 number 334 - £116.51 Saved! Really good idea - we are quite creative with gifts too and this is one of our 'kind of things' !!
If there is a stand out picture you could always stick it on a canvas. I got one done through ebay for only £20 and it was excellent !!
Pictures are very personal and so much nicer than a toaster/iron/kettle/saucepan.
As one of the above posters put, you can always get free prints online and to be honest it doesn't cost that much if you take them down to your local processing centre.
BTW, obviously you cannot give them this until after their wedding so you'll need a good excuse !Thanks to MSE I cleared £37k of debt in five years and I was lucky enough to meet Martin to thank him personally.0 -

Sorry Richard, but what does "on canvas" mean? I'm not very clued up on arts/creative things as you can probably tell
Thank you Dizzie and MrsC! I'll be looking out for free print offers closer to the time. Alternatively I get family discount in Boots, so I will check out their prices too.0 -
These are canvas prints: http://www.photobox.co.uk/shop/wall-decor/canvas-prints and they are LOVELY! (although photobox are one of the dearer ones, it's worth it honest!!)Green and White Barmy Army!0

i love the book idea but it will take alot of time and you cant give it on the day but the canvas is a great idea too, you could find a gorgeous pic of them together now and then scour ebay for a canvas printI am not bossy I just have better ideas:p0
