'Free advice' calls

I searched for loans last year online and now I'm getting inundated with calls form a variety of companies saying that I qualify for 'free advice' and could possibly get my interest freezed. Some talk about a new 'government' scheme.
I usually say I'm not interested because they call me all the time and am always suspicious (why would they call me to give me free advice) but does anyone know if it's worth listening on?

Nope.
Might give you free advice, but the advice is likely to be pay us to help you find a loan/pay your debts/ etc .
If you wanted some free impartial advice about your debts/finances, then the places to
contact would be the free debt advice charities such as CCCS and CAB.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
