Eligibility and acceptance of terms

1. This competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over. No payment or purchase is necessary for entry.
2. Employees of Educational Digital Management Limited and Education Digital Limited (collectively referred to as "Teachers TV"), their families or anyone directly involved with the competition are not eligible to enter.
3. Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
4. These terms and conditions shall be deemed to be read in conjunction with the instructions for entry set out on the Teachers TV website however in the event these terms and conditions contradict the instructions in any form, the terms and conditions herein shall supersede any such contradictory clause or statement.
5. All details (including the entry) provided must be truthful and accurate and in no way misleading. Upon request entrants shall supply Teachers TV with any supporting documentation to substantiate their eligibility to enter this competition or claim a prize.
Entries and closing date

6. Entries must be submitted digitally via www.teachers.tv/online Entries will not be accepted by post or by any other means.
7. At the point of entry, entrants must provide their name, a valid email address, and their role in education and agree to receive emails from Teachers TV regarding Teachers TV services.
8. Entries must be received no later than 23.59 on 23rd July 2010.
9. Only one entry per person. Multiple entries may lead to disqualification.
10. Proof of transmission electronically shall not be accepted as proof of delivery and Teachers TV cannot accept responsibility for any electronic submissions which are corrupted. Damaged or incomplete entries may be treated as invalid.
11. Teachers TV accept no responsibility for participants being unable to connect to the Teachers TV website or a person’s inability for any reason to participate in this competition, or if their entry is late or lost due to any problem technical or otherwise connected with their web connection. Teachers TV accept no responsibility for any occurrences resulting from the participant's connection to the Internet via Teachers TV's website. Teachers TV does not accept responsibility for any damage (whether material or non-material) caused to participants, to their computer equipment or to data which is stored on them, or to their personal, professional or commercial activities.
The Winners

12. Subject to their compliance with these terms and conditions, entrants who correctly answer the question will be entered into a prize draw to win one of ten laptops.
13. 10 winners will be drawn at random. Teachers TV shall endeavour to notify the winners by 6th September 2010. The winner will be contacted via the contact details provided in their entry form. If any of the winners do not claim their prize within 14 days from the date of being notified they will be deemed to have forfeited their prize and Teachers TV reserves the right to re-offer their prize without any liability to the winner for having done so. Teachers TV will endeavour to ensure winners receive their prize within 28 days after claiming it.
The prize

14. Each of the winners will receive a laptop.
15. Should the prize(s) become unavailable due to circumstances beyond Teachers TV's control, Teachers TV reserve the right to withdraw any of the prizes at any time.
16. No cash alternative will be offered.
17. Teachers TV make no representations or warranties regarding the quality of the prizes and any conditions, warranties, or other terms implied by statute or common law are hereby excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law. Any complaints shall be directed to the relevant third party provider.
General terms

18. Teachers TV reserves the right to cancel, alter and amend the competition or these terms and conditions for any reason without prior notice and the right to refuse entry to or disqualify any person for any failure to comply with these terms and conditions.
19. Teachers TV may use the information provided on the entry form to contact the entrant about the services of Teachers TV.
20. In the event of any dispute regarding the terms and conditions, competition, conduct, results and all other matters in relation to this competition, the decision of Teachers TV shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
