            Ideas, ideas...
We've not tried knitting patterns or chocolate cake recipe swapping...yet.
Give it time.
At the moment, we're on gardening, freecycling, um...lir's chickens.
Can't remember.
Feel free to join in yourself, ISTL, and share your knitting patterns or whateveer. I don't knit, but maybe you can convert me.
thanks for the invite but I have no time to waste discussing what could otherwise be described as hanging over the garden fence gossip tittle tattle.

Really? I find it a pleasant break from discussing 'real' news. The truly important things in life aren't actually money and house prices, in my experience - fun though they are.
Each to their own, obviously...0 -
Apologies, I haven't read the whole thread but I like both children and Chucky.
So what's the charity and how much are we in for so far?
I assume some of us are actually putting our hands in our pockets........Retail is the only therapy that works0 -

The carity is the one connected to Inspector Monkfish's daughter' illness. I'm in for a tenner. After this I have to stop for a while because of the move, but peace in our time is a cause worth a tenner.0 -

True, however I don't feel the need to 'socialise' with people who I don;t really know on the internet.
I find this forum interesting to swap points of view that help me understand a few things.
Sociallising is something I do with actual physical people that I know in the real world:wall:

I don't think he'll be very embarrassed, I think he'll be pleased at the opportunity to spread the word.
