    My mom's an avid family researcher and was excited about this, but trying to log onto the site last night when the England match was on was a nightmare. Pages wouldn't load and she said even people who actually had the subscription to the bits you have to pay for couldn't get on. Let's hope they sort something out to deal with the amount of traffic they get when the next england matches are on.

    It's not the fault of Findmypast - it's because so many people were accessing the internet to watch the footie.
