My amazing Gibraltar wedding.

Hi everyone

I'm back and married!!!!!

Well what an amazing fortnight and a bit.

We got married on 2nd June in Gibraltar's gorgeous Botanical Gardens, it was beautiful but very very hot. We expected temps of about 23 but it was 39 degrees, a week later it was raining and 19 degrees! By the time i'd reached Si at the alter I was sweating like you wouldn't believe.

65 people flew from England to join us, it was stressful but i'm sooo glad they were all there sharing our day with us.

I've posted a link to our photos on Facebook..Let me know if theres a problem because i'm not 100% sure it will work.

Thank you to EVERYONE on this forum, you helped me so much with tips etc and I don't think I would have been able to organise it all without you.

Good luck to everyone who is getting married, if your day is as good as ours you'll have a great time.

Now I must get my lazy hubby out of bed

Sal, I bet its got you all excited for your daughter's big day, what date is it? I met a girl in the registry office who's getting married on 28th Aug, thats close to your daughter's isn't it? I thought of you when she said the date. I promise she won't be disappointed.

I'm Mrs Burgess now, it feels very strange to change my name after 39 years lol.
