Help needed!
I've had my invites made; they are very plain - ivory with a small design in moss/sage green.
As they are very plain I don't want ivory envelopes too - I wanted a similar shade of green to the small bit of detail. The ones we have had come with the invites are more of a bright, Christmas green colour and look a bit "festive" (for an August wedding!) and don't match as well as I hoped. I ordered what I thought was an appropriate replacement dark green envelope (sort of a very dark hunter green) which would also have gone, but they have turned and up and will have to be sent back as they are more like the festive green again in real life (colour was described as forest/clariana green - in reality it was more like pea green!). So now I have 2 lots of christmas green envelopes which don't match!
So I'm trying to souce 5" x 7" envelopes, in either a very dark hunter green, like a dark olive green colour, or a paler moss/sage green. As long as it's a sludgy green colour (pale or dark), not a pastel or a bright, I think they would be okay.
I've looked and looked - can I find any? Nope. I'm also being a bit sceptical as the replacements I ordered LOOKED the right colour online, but in reality were totally wrong!

Have you tried PDA cards and crafts? You can purchase colour swatches (for £1 I think) and then you can compare colours to your invites before purchasing.
I bought everything to make our invitations from here and they were so helpful.
Good luck in your search.0 -

5x7" envelopes and you can have a bespoke colour.

I second PDA - they do a load of colours, and you can get the swatch to choose from first..!
Also have a look at world of envelopes - I use them for my business card envelopes and they have loads of colours, and you can order a swatch for colour matching from them too.Why does nobody say Thank You anymore??:mad:Debt Free as of September 2011 :jSealed Pot 2009 number 334 - £100 Saved! yey!!Sealed Pot 2010 number 334 - £116.51 Saved!
